Whole School Approach to Positive Behaviour
The plan to roll out our whole school approach to consequences started this week in our
classrooms. Students worked to identify behaviours in the classroom and on the playground which did not represent our RISE expectations of Respect, Inclusive, Safe and Everyone.
Students were able to identify where these behaviours would be located on the Universal Behaviour Chart shown above. The next steps will encourage students to see the differences between a consequence and a punishment.
