Principal Report
Dear Families,
I start this news letter with words of encouragement to all our parents and carers during this current phase of the pandemic. We have had much illness with both COVID and the common cold across all areas in the school. I thank you all for keeping to the RAT testing schedule and being patient with the interruptions to your lives while needing time to care for and recover from sickness. Please allow yourselves the time to recover you need, we are all in the same situation and to function well in all areas of our lives we need to look after our health.
Children who have any symptom of illness must stay at home regardless of the RAT result.
MOTHER’S DAY
To a more positive space we have had some exciting times at school. Our Mother’s Day afternoon tea was a delightful experience. I would like to thank our wonderful staff for the efforts they put into planning and facilitating occasions such as these. The afternoon tea supported our Big Idea of “Belonging” which is the idea which we are using for making connections in our learning this term. Mother’s Day celebrations allowed families to come into the school and be part of our learning environment. (please look out for the video of images of the day on Facebook).
THANK YOU
Special thanks to Tsi Liong from Princes Drive Fish & Chips who provided the school with delicious hot chips last Friday adding to the wonderful Mother’s Day celebrations.
