School Captains Report
Hello Parents and students,
We would like to remind you that the Scholastic book fair has ended today but online orders end next Monday.
The basketball tournament was yesterday and we had tons of fun. A fair few seniors walked to the Leisure centre and played 3 games all together with each team. The girls team placed 3rd and boys 4th. Congratulations to Morwell Park Boys and Girls and runners-up St Vincent Boys and Girls.
We would like to thank the SRC team and their friends for organising the Dance Party last Friday. It was a truly spectacular experience. The money that was raised from the food sold will be used to make a running track around the basketball and netball courts. Sunday, who is a part of the SRC team, told us that the Dance Party was loads of fun and he loved dancing to the music.
On Tuesday the Juniors went on an excursion to the Warragul Art Centre, they saw Edward the Emu. We asked some students and teachers what they thought of it and here is what they said:-
Jindarah: “I liked the trip there because it was cool and the view outside”.
Hayden: “I liked the lion because it was funny”.
Nixon: “I liked the park because it was fun”.
Aisha: “I liked when the emu eggs hatched and when the woman wiggled her butt”.
Mrs Larkins: “I liked the performance of ‘Edward The Emu’ because it was very creative and entertaining, the token guy was exceptional”.
Mrs Handley: “I liked the puppets that were being used during the performance because they were realistic”.
