Hello parents and students, 

On Thursday grades 1 and 2 went on a excursion to Gumbya World to look at the animals. We asked four students from grades 1 and 2 to see what their favourite part was and this is what they said:

Macaela said: “My favourite part was feeding the bunnies”

Hunter said: “My favourite part was patting the wolfs” 

Isabella said: “My favourite part was when she got to hold the snake”

Jaxon said: ”My favourite part was watching the kangaroos”.

In the next couple weeks grades 3-6 are going to the Werribee Zoo in Melbourne and will be going on the safari ride.

We would like to inform you that a virus is going around school, it isn’t anything too bad but just to be safe, please sanitise and wash your hands regularly and properly.  

We would like to thank Around the Bay Bike Ride and Mrs Robb for giving and bringing us the leftover bananas.

We would also like to thank Gracie, Sienna, Elisha, Ursula and Simon for making banana bread with the spare bananas for the whole school. The bananas were so delicious. 

This term Icy-poles are coming back so make sure you bring money, one Icy-pole is 50c and the money will go to the Catholic Mission. You can only buy one icy-pole and you are not allowed to share money with your friends.
