A lot of fun and activity was seen last Thursday when students and staff came to school dressed as book characters. Many activities were enjoyed throughout the day including the Dress Up Parade. A highlight was the school zoom meeting with renowned book author Leigh Hobbs. Leigh's book can be purchased on-line.
Dear Parents and Carers,
This week and the coming weeks are presenting us with challenges around our children’s learning that are not unfamiliar. There is a fatigue that we are all feeling from the ongoing restraint of lockdown. Our children are feeling it too. Learning is hard when there is stress all around, when much of the excitement of planned excursions is in doubt and when you can’t see your friends. I am so proud of the positive way our families have worked through the difficulties of learning at home. Please continue to keep up the tenacity and please allow us to support you, this is a challenging time and we are here to help.
The Eucharist meetings are on hold for now. I will be talking with Father James to discuss some creative solutions so our children are prepared and can make their 1st Eucharist this year.
Don’t forget that there are plenty of new old-style uniforms which will be part of our uniform for the next three years please send your orders to uniforms@shmorwell.catholic.edu.au

Very soon we will have samples at school to try on as soon as children are allowed back on site.
