Dear Parents and Guardians,
Greetings to you all, it is with excitement that we have more and more freedoms. Our Little learners will begin next week with information being sent out to those enrolled. If you know anyone who would like to enrol a Foundation student, or a child at any level, please have them contact our office. For students to be onsite they must have filled out an enrolment form.
Adding to the excitement is the news that our students preparing for their 1st Eucharist will be celebrating their special day on Sunday 21st November. Please keep Isabella, Apenisa, Aleksja, Ruby, Mayah and Sieanna in your prayers as they continue on their preparation journey.
Road Repair
The road repair is still nearly finished. The extra signage for keeping the disabled carpark clear has been ordered and should be put in soon.
I ask you all to not park in the arrowed area at drop off in the morning, as the cars pull out of the exit in the car park, it is unsafe for children to exit the car or cars to be parked in an area that has other cars transiting through.
We will have signage to direct the parking areas in the coming weeks which will prevent dropping off in this area. Thank you for all for your cooperation.
We have a large pot hole in the middle of the car park, it is surrounded by fencing and we are currently liaising with the parish to contract companies for the work.
Uniforms
Again, don’t forget that there are plenty of new old-style uniforms which will be part of our uniform for the next three years, please send your orders to uniforms@shmorwell.catholic.edu.au
Adding to this the eduthreads company has informed me that our new uniform is now online for orders.

The 2022 Grade 6’s (this year’s Grade5) will have the opportunity to engage in some decisions around the design of their Grade 6 T-shirt in the coming weeks. It will be printed on the new uniform.
COVID
Thankyou for the response we have had for looking after your families during this unlocking period during COVID. Our children are working hard to do the right thing by wearing their masks even when they are so uncomfortable. I ask that all parents of children in grades 3 - 6 to please supply your child with a face mask.
HATS
All children must have a hat at school, we are not allowing children to share hats or borrow a spare, this is not a hygienic habit during COVID or anytime. Please ensure your child has a named hat. Should you’re child have lost their hat a new once can purchase from the office for $10.
Please enjoy the weekend and blessings to all,
Anne-Marie Robb
