Dear Parents,
I wish all families the joy and blessings that winter brings. Today your child’s report will be sent out on our digital platforms for communication. The reporting system SIMON (which is a School Information Management Online Network software system) and PAM (Parent Access Module).
All learning areas from the Victorian Curriculum and “To Live in Christ Jesus” ( the RE curriculum in the Diocese of Sale) that have been taught in Semester 1 are being reported on.
Please remember children learn in many different ways, please focus on their efforts and their successes when discussing their achievements.
The teachers have written a general comment about how your child applies themself to their learning. The Achievement section lists the learning points focused on in each learning area and supports the Expected Level mark.
Together at Sacred Heart we work towards embracing Gospel values to inspire our vision of empowering learners. Our goal is to have all learners achieve their full potential and contribute to a flourishing world which is enacted in our community of faith. We strive to educate all learners to be respectful, inclusive and caring learners- enabling them to achieve excellence and contribute to the world.
On behalf of the staff, I thank you for your partnership and pray that you have a safe and restful mid-term break.
God Bless,
Anne-Marie Robb
Grade 5/6 information
On Tuesday the Grade 6’s went to the Good Start Early Learning Kindergarten, they had lots of fun doing some activities with the little children, they had a Scavenger Hunt and then some playtime.
The seniors finished their gold rush diorama!
They look absolutely amazing too.
Other things
Yesterday we had an Aboriginal Family tea. The families painted some stones that we will use in the front garden.
We had a raffle prize this week. To earn a ticket, all the students have to sit respectfully at the end of lunch and recess, behave well in class and show our RISE expectations. The prize included Marshmallows, Oreos, Tim Tams and hot chocolate.
